The people whose only job is to hear you.
Our listeners aren't chatbots. They aren't therapists. They are carefully selected, rigorously trained human beings who have chosen a single mission: to listen without judgment.
The four non-negotiables of our listening standard
Non-judgmental presence
Every listener is trained to receive what you share without reaction, opinion, or advice. The moment judgment enters a room, listening ends. We train ours out.
Active, empathetic listening
Nodding is not listening. Our listeners are trained in the specific techniques of reflection, validation, and empathetic response that make you feel truly understood.
Strict confidentiality
Every listener signs a legally binding NDA before they take a single session. What you say in the room stays in the room — permanently.
No advice unless asked
Unsolicited advice is what friends do — usually wrong and often hurtful. Our listeners hold a strict no-advice policy. If you want a perspective, you ask.
How we select and train the people you trust with your words
Application & Screening
Every listener applicant completes a detailed application. We screen for emotional maturity, communication clarity, life experience, and genuine empathy. Most applicants are not accepted.
BeHeard Training Programme
Selected candidates complete our proprietary 40-hour training programme covering: active listening techniques, empathy frameworks, boundary management, confidentiality protocol, and our Zero Judgment methodology.
Supervised Practice Sessions
Trainees conduct supervised practice sessions with experienced listeners observing. They receive structured feedback before taking any live sessions.
Certification & Ongoing Review
Certified listeners are reviewed quarterly. We collect anonymous post-session feedback and act on it. Listeners who don't meet our standard don't continue.
